Preparing Materials Against the Approved Specification
Platvex Plasticware prepares materials and colors for plastic plates, bowls, cups, food containers and related dinnerware at our Huangyan, Taizhou manufacturing site. For wholesale and OEM orders, preparation begins with the confirmed product model, material, unit weight, color and intended use.
The material specification must remain connected to the approved sample and order requirements. A similar-looking product made from a different resin may behave differently during molding or use. We review material requests before production planning rather than treating every resin as a interchangeable option.
Selecting the Material for the Product
Our material range includes PP, PS, HDPE, ABS and melamine resin, depending on the product. Availability is confirmed by model, structure and manufacturing route; not every material is suitable for every plate, bowl or container.
Buyers should identify the intended application, destination market and any required food-contact testing. Heating, cleaning and other use requirements need product-specific review before claims are added to labels or packaging.
Our material and color options explain the information needed when selecting an existing model or requesting a change.
Confirming Color and Masterbatch Requirements
For colored thermoplastic products, resin and the required color or masterbatch are prepared according to the agreed specification. Buyers can provide a physical color reference or an agreed color designation for review.
The base material, product thickness and surface appearance can influence how the finished color looks. A reference on paper or a screen should therefore be checked against a molded sample when color matching is important.
Color approval should identify the selected sample and product model. A later material or weight change may require another review because it can affect the finished appearance.
Preparing Resin for the Molding Run
Drying requirements are determined by the selected resin and processing conditions. We do not apply one drying approach to every material. Feeding and drying equipment supports preparation where required before the resin enters production.
Material type, color or masterbatch and production setup are checked against the confirmed order before the run. Keeping these details aligned helps reduce avoidable differences between the approved sample and bulk products.
The next stage is injection molding for suitable thermoplastic items. Melamine products follow a separate preparation and forming route.
Checking the First Molded Samples
Material preparation is followed by reviewing molded products against the approved requirements. Checks include color, dimensions, unit weight, molding condition and visible appearance.
These checks help identify whether the prepared material and production setup are producing the agreed result. Decoration and packaging requirements remain separate parts of the specification and are reviewed at their relevant stages.
Our quality inspection page explains how product checks continue through production and packing.
Information Needed for Material Review
Send the product model or reference, requested material, dimensions, target unit weight, color reference and quantity by model and color. Include intended use, destination market and any buyer-required testing or documentation.
We will review the available material route and whether sampling is needed. Material or color changes can affect MOQ, sample preparation, quotation and production timing, so these details should be confirmed before the bulk order is approved.
