Confirming Packing Requirements Before Production
Platvex Plasticware prepares plastic plates, bowls, trays, food containers and cups for overseas OEM and wholesale orders. Packing arrangements are confirmed according to the product shape, quantity, decoration and buyer’s distribution requirements.
Please specify whether products will be supplied in bulk packs, individual packs or coordinated sets. Quantity per pack and carton should be agreed before packing materials are ordered. For mixed orders, each model, color and packing format needs clear identification to reduce sorting work after delivery.
Packing requirements also affect quotation, carton volume and preparation time.
Protecting Products During Stacking and Handling
Plates and bowls are commonly nested or stacked where their structure allows. Stack height, product weight and contact between surfaces need review before the packing arrangement is confirmed.
Decorated surfaces may require separation to reduce rubbing. Rims, corners and projecting features can need additional protection depending on the model and transport conditions. Containers with matching lids require a packing arrangement that keeps the specified components together without placing unnecessary pressure on them.
Protection is selected for the actual product. Adding more material does not automatically produce a better pack if items still move inside it.
Preparing OEM and Private Label Packaging
Available formats may include polybags, shrink packing, sleeves, color boxes, labels and export cartons, according to the selected product and order quantity.
For printed packaging, buyers should provide artwork, required text, barcode information and placement instructions. Product names, pack quantities and model references need checking alongside the visual design. Buyer-supplied barcodes should be confirmed before printing; their accuracy should not be assumed from an artwork preview.
Our Custom Packaging page covers packaging development and the information needed for a quotation.
Checking Carton Arrangement and Order Identification
Carton preparation includes confirming how packs sit inside the box, whether separation is required and whether the agreed quantity fits without forcing the contents. Carton dimensions and packed weight should be confirmed for the final arrangement.
Labels and shipping marks are checked against the order instructions. Mixed models or colors need an agreed identification method, especially when cartons are delivered to a distributor’s warehouse or allocated across several destinations.
Final packing review also covers carton condition and visible damage to the contents. The Quality Inspection page explains how packing checks connect with finished product inspection.
Confirming Shipping Details and Documents
Export preparation requires the delivery destination, consignee information, agreed shipping terms and any buyer-specific document instructions. Product descriptions, quantities and packing information need to remain consistent across the order and shipment documents.
EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP arrangements can be discussed according to the destination and order. Ningbo-Zhoushan is a commonly considered port, while the final route depends on the confirmed shipment.
Buyers using their own forwarder should provide booking and handover requirements early. Destination-specific labeling or document requests should also be reviewed before packing is completed.
Planning Lead Time and Requesting a Packing Quote
Custom boxes, revised artwork and special packing materials can affect the delivery schedule. Packaging approval should progress alongside product sampling so unresolved details do not delay a completed production order.
Bulk production generally takes approximately 25–40 days after sample and order confirmation, depending on the product and order requirements. Shipment transit time is separate and depends on the agreed route.
For a packing and export quotation, send the product references, quantities per model and color, pack format, units per pack, artwork, destination and requested shipping terms. Include your delivery target and any forwarding instructions so product packing and shipment preparation can be reviewed together.
