Manufacturing for Wholesale and OEM Plasticware Orders
Platvex Plasticware manufactures plastic plates and related dinnerware in Huangyan, Taizhou, China. Our product range includes reusable plastic plates, disposable plastic plates, melamine plates, bowls, food containers and cups for importers, wholesalers, distributors, private-label brands and foodservice suppliers.
The manufacturing route depends on the selected material and product structure. Thermoplastic items follow material preparation, injection molding, applicable printing or finishing, inspection and packing. Melamine items use a separate molding and finishing route. We confirm the specification before planning production so that material, dimensions, unit weight, appearance and packaging remain connected throughout the order.
Confirming the Product and Production Requirements
Production planning starts with the selected model, material, size, unit weight, color, quantity and packing format. Logo artwork, decoration and buyer-required testing are included where applicable.
Existing molds are preferred when they meet the sourcing requirements. Changes to size or structure that require new tooling are reviewed separately. Our sample and mold development process establishes the appropriate sampling and approval route before bulk production.
Approved samples, artwork and packaging details provide the references for manufacturing and inspection. Changes after approval may affect the production schedule.
Material and Color Preparation
PP, PS, HDPE, ABS or melamine resin is selected according to the product specification. Materials are not interchangeable across every model: a change can affect forming, appearance, weight and suitability for the intended use.
For thermoplastic production, resin, color or masterbatch and drying requirements are prepared before molding. Material type and color preparation are checked against the confirmed order.
Our material preparation page explains this stage in more detail. Destination-market requirements and intended food-contact conditions should be identified before material and testing arrangements are finalized.
Injection Molding and Product Forming
Our Huangyan site operates around 30–40 injection molding machines, supported by automatic feeding and drying, mold temperature control and chillers. These support repeat production of suitable thermoplastic products.
During molding, checks cover product dimensions, unit weight, molding condition, edges and visible defects. A plate’s rim and shape, a bowl’s profile, or a container’s lid structure must match the agreed specification.
Our injection molding page covers this production stage. Melamine items are handled through their separate forming route rather than described as injection-molded thermoplastic products.
Finishing, Printing and Decoration
Finishing requirements vary by product. Edge condition and surface appearance are reviewed before products move to packing or any agreed decoration stage.
Screen printing and pad printing can be arranged for compatible models. Artwork, print area, position and appearance are confirmed against approved references. Product shape and surface affect which decoration options are practical.
Printed products are checked for logo position, color and visible print quality. Decoration is applied only where specified; plain products do not require the same processing steps.
In-Process and Final Quality Checks
Quality checks follow the approved product specification and buyer requirements. They cover material, dimensions, unit weight, molding, appearance, decoration and packing through the relevant production stages.
Checks are matched to the product. For example, plate edges, printed areas and container structures require different points of review. The inspection scope should be agreed when buyers have specific requirements.
Third-party food-contact testing can be arranged where required. Material, destination-market standard, test scope and documents are confirmed beforehand. This support does not mean every product already holds the same testing documentation.
Packing and Export Preparation
Products are counted, protected and packed in the confirmed format. Options may include polybags, shrink packs, sleeves, color boxes and labels, depending on the model and order.
Export carton checks cover quantity, packing arrangement, labels and carton marks before dispatch. Product protection and carton configuration matter because they influence handling and shipping volume.
Our packing and export preparation page explains this stage. EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP can be discussed by destination and order; Ningbo-Zhoushan Port is commonly used for container shipments.
Production Timing and Order Review
Mass production usually takes approximately 25–40 days after sample and order confirmation, depending on material, quantity, decoration and packing. New-mold development requires a separate schedule.
Send the product reference, specifications, quantity by model and color, packaging, destination and testing requirements. We will review the manufacturing route, sampling needs and production timing before confirming the order.
