OEM Projects Built Around Confirmed Product Specifications
Platvex Plasticware manufactures and supplies plastic plates and related dinnerware from Huangyan, Taizhou, China, for importers, wholesalers, distributors, private-label brands, retail chains and foodservice suppliers. Our OEM range includes reusable plastic plates, disposable plates, melamine plates, bowls, food containers and cups.
Projects usually begin with an existing model. We review material, dimensions, unit weight, color, decoration, packaging and quantity before recommending a production approach. This helps buyers compare suitable products without committing to unnecessary tooling. Selected new designs can be evaluated from drawings or reference samples, with development requirements confirmed separately.
Existing Models, Custom Sizes and Product Structures
The first step is checking whether an available model meets your intended use, target dimensions and packing requirements. A product photograph, model reference or physical sample helps us identify relevant options.
Changes to diameter, depth, rim profile, compartments or container lid structure may require different tooling. These changes cannot always be made by adjusting an existing mold. Through our custom sizes and shapes review, we assess the requested dimensions and structure before confirming development scope, sample arrangements and quotation. Very small fully customized orders are generally unsuitable for new-mold projects.
Material and Color Options by Product
Available materials include PP, PS, HDPE, ABS and melamine resin, depending on the product. Material selection must match the model, structure and intended application; every material is not available for every item.
Tell us the destination market, intended food-contact use and any required testing or documentation. Heating, washing and other performance requirements need confirmation for the selected product.
For color projects, provide a color reference or approved sample. We review feasibility against the material and model, then confirm sample appearance before production. Our material and color options are evaluated together with unit weight, decoration and quantity.
Custom Logo, Printing and Product Decoration
Screen printing and pad printing can be arranged for compatible products. Send your artwork together with the preferred logo position, approximate print dimensions and required colors. We check the usable print area against the product shape and surface.
Decoration options differ between thermoplastic and melamine items, so the method is confirmed by model rather than offered as a universal process. Sample approval covers placement, appearance and color. Artwork changes after approval may require another sample and affect scheduling. For bulk orders, the agreed artwork and sample provide the reference for printing checks.
Private-Label Packaging for Your Sales Channel
Packaging can include polybags, shrink packs, sleeves, color boxes, labels, carton marks and export cartons. The suitable format depends on product dimensions, pieces per pack, order quantity and your distribution channel.
Provide the required pack quantity, branding artwork, barcode information and carton requirements. We review these details alongside product protection and packing practicality. Our custom packaging service supports confirmation before production, helping prevent mismatched labels, incorrect pack counts or packaging that does not fit the approved product.
Samples and Pre-Production Approval
Existing-product samples usually take approximately 5–10 days, while customized samples usually take approximately 10–20 days, depending on the project. New-mold development requires a separate review and should not be assumed to follow the same schedule. Sample charges and delivery arrangements are confirmed for the request.
Before bulk production, we confirm the product specification and approve samples, artwork and packaging as applicable. Our sample and mold development process establishes the reference for the order, including material, size, weight, color and agreed decoration.
MOQ, Bulk Production and Quality Checks
MOQ is usually around 500–2,000 pieces per model and color. Material, printing, packaging and development requirements can affect the final quantity. Submit quantities separately by model and color so we can review the order accurately.
Mass production usually takes approximately 25–40 days after sample and order confirmation, depending on the specifications and order mix. This is production time; transport is arranged separately. Checks cover material, molding condition, dimensions, unit weight, edges, appearance, printing and packing against the approved requirements. Buyer-required third-party food-contact testing can be arranged after the product and test scope are confirmed.
Send Your OEM Requirements for Review
For a quotation, send the product reference, material, dimensions, unit weight, quantities, color or logo requirements, packaging details and destination. Include drawings for structural changes and any required testing documents. We will review suitable models, MOQ, sample arrangements and production timing. Shipping terms can be discussed according to the destination and order.
